A brand new company called Professional Property Tenders LLC has been launched by a group of four profes­sionals from Clark County, Washington. Karyn and Daniel Slanina, and Sheri and Randy Hunzeker opened for business in May, 2010. The owners realized that many homes in the area were vacant and that these proper­ties were becoming distressed. They knew from personal experience that home tending was a practical solu­tion for the homeowner, Realtor and potential home tenders. As the number of vacant homes on the market increases daily, the new company sees a huge need for the services they provide. In a nutshell, Professional Property Tenders contracts with qualified, reliable home tenders to occupy, maintain and stage vacant homes which are on the market, providing security, maintenance and potential higher resale value.

“Trying to sell a home when it is vacant, or not staged and maintained can be very difficult in this housing mar­ket,” says Sheri Hunzeker. “It has been well documented that furnished, decorated, and occupied homes sell faster and likely receive higher offers than vacant homes,” she said.
