After a year and a half of renovations, spurred on by hundreds of supporters and volunteers, the Kiggins Theatre has finally reopened its doors.

Catering to local demand for independent, classic and family movies at affordable prices, the theatre will offer shows four days a week, Friday through Monday. The art deco lounge, located on the second will floor, will offer beer, wine and cider to go alongside pizza and other snacks. Built in 1936 and tastefully restored, the theatre offers a genuine main street experience giving the next generation of movie goers the chance to create their own Kiggins memories.

Community events, art and music will also be an integral part of their programming as they take their place in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

The theatre is located at 1011 Main Street, Vancouver. For more information visit their website and facebook page: www.kigginstheatre.com and facebook.com/newkigginstheatre.
